Due Wednesday, September 21st in class

Pallasmaa includes in the title of his book the terms existential and embodied wisdom. The definition of existential includes a. grounded in existence or the experience of existence - empirical, and b. having being in time and space. The theory of embodied cognition believes that many features of human cognition are shaped by bodily senses beyond rational thought. Pulling from your own drawing experiences past and present, give support or evidence to Pallasmaa’s thesis. Please frame your essay around at least one quote lifted directly from the chapter.
