The President will uphold the mission of AIAS National and organize the AIAS-Texas Tech University Chapter with diligence and hard work. He/she will oversee all activities held by the AIAS-Texas Tech University and ensure all officers and committee heads follow their assigned roles and tasks. The President will be the official liaison between the school administrators and other organization as well as the national office and AIA-Lubbock. The President will lead the chapter in recruitment of new members. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.



President - Elect


The President Elect must serve one term as President Elect before becoming President. He/she will serve as the liaison to the student government organizations. He/she will assist the President in all AIAS-Texas Tech University endeavors and above-mentioned tasks. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.



Vice President


The Vice President will assist the President in all AIAS-Texas Tech University endeavors and above-mentioned tasks. He/she shall assist the chapter in keeping a good relationship with AIAS National and maintain membership records for AIAS-Texas Tech University. The Vice President shall act as the enforcer of these bylaws. He/she will manage local external events and activities. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.



Treasurer.


The Treasurer will manage all financial activity within chapter. He/she must keep and manage the budget and assist in fundraising and recruiting members. The Treasurer will insure a positive money flow into chapter coffers. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.



Secretary.


The Secretary will ensure that all chapter activity is recorded and manage information flow. He/she shall attend and record all meeting minutes and make this information available to the Membership. The Secretary shall keep a master calendar for the chapter to distribute to all members periodically and to keep the chapter paperwork organized. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.



Historian.


The Historian must attend all AIAS-Texas Tech University events (or find equivalent substitute) to record through photographic/video means. He/she is responsible for the distribution and archiving of the recorded material. He/she will be responsible for other duties as designated by the AIAS-Texas Tech University Executive Committee.
