What Type of Applicant Are You?

Students with a B.S. in Architecture from Texas Tech University
  • If you are applying to the Master of Architecture program with an institutional GPA of 3.0 or above may be eligible for exemptions regarding their application. If you believe you might qualify for this exemption, please contact the Graduate Advisor Amy Peterman or stop by office 1008C for more information.
  • If you are applying to the Master of Architecture program with an institutional GPA below a 3.0 all parts of the program application must be completed before submission.

External Student (international or domestic)

  • All external applicants (international or domestic) applying for the Master of Architecture, Master of Science, and the Land-Use Planning, Management, and Design (LPMD) programs must complete all parts of the program application before submission. For questions about the application process, please contact the Graduate Advisor Amy Peterman or stop by office 1008C.

How to Apply?

The entirety of your application is now completed at one site, http://www.depts.ttu.edu/gradschool/admissions/howtoapply.php,and is completely paperless. Please do not send any physical documents to the TTU Graduate School or the TTU College of Architecture unless specifically requested.

Application Deadlines

Master of Architecture:

We evaluate applications as they are received. Please apply as soon as possible for earlier acceptance and scholarship opportunities. Email Dr. Saif Haq if you have any questions.

Master of Science in Architecture:

  • February 1st for Fall semester

The Master of Science, post professional program begins in the Fall semester only.

Land-Use Planning, Management, and Design:

  • February 1st for Fall semester

The LPMD program begins in the Fall semester only.

NOTE: Applicants who have NOT received their Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University will be reviewed by an admission committee who will place the applicant within the curriculum. Leveling courses may be assigned.
