Sharon Johnston, FAIA, is a founder and partner of Johnston Marklee + Professor in Practice at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Together with her partner Mark Lee they found Johnston Marklee in 1998 where they employ their wide-ranging knowledge of diverse architectural practices to direct distinguished collaborative teams tailored to each specific project. Current projects include the renovation of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the new UCLA Graduate Art Studios campus in Culver City, California; and the Menil Drawing Institute in Houston.
Sharon has lectured and taught widely, including teaching appointments at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Princeton University, the University of California, Los Angeles, and has held the Cullinan Chair at Rice University and the Frank Gehry International Chair at the University of Toronto.
