Introduction
Greetings students and welcome to the official web page for ARCH1412. This is a very unique course in the university. There are over 250 of you, there are three professors, and there are about 12 teaching assistants. We're all going to teach you, including your classmates.
This class is a performance based course. It is not assessed either by a final product or a series of tests. This course is assessed on day to day performance of design exercises.
Each of the instructors will teach a three week long unit. We'll each teach that unit three times. Each of you will pass through each section in a rotation. The units are:
DRAWING : Projecting Form & Space with Professor Alford
CONSTRUCTING : Components and Systems in Design with Professor Pauls
MODELING : Boundary, Surface, Shape, & Form with Professor Rex
