2010 Fall ARCH 2501 Coordination-Lottery

Online balloting for ARCH 2501 studio instructors will begin on Tue. Aug. 24th, 9:00 AM and will close on Wed. Aug 25th, 12:00 noon.
Important: Prior to voting, verify that your ERAIDER password has not expired. You cannot vote without a valid ERAIDER password.
You should review the syllabus and the studio project statements prior to voting.

STUDIO SECTION LOTTERY RESULTS
Results of the lottery are final. No switching
The first day of ARCH 2501 studio is Friday, August 27th 8:30 am.
All studios will be located on the 4th floor of the architecture building.
You will report directly to your studio section.

Software Requirements for all Sections of ARCH 2501 Studio
For this studio course, there is required software that must be installed on your laptop computer by Mon. Aug. 31.
- All sections of ARCH 2501 studio require Adobe Design Standard CS 5 (includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, Bridge) available for purchase at the Texas Technology Store. The cost is $249 for either the PC or MAC version. If you already have Adobe Creative Suite 3 or CS4 you do not need to buy CS5.
- Most sections of ARCH 2501 will be requiring bonZai3D solids, surface, and nurbz software. Cost for download is $40 (one-year subscription).
- Note: Sketchup will not be used in ANY sections of ARCH 2501.
