note: the syllabus and project statement are to be read prior to attending the first lab session. the semester calendar will be updated throughout the semester as new content becomes available.


Software Requirements: All Sections

For presentation purposes, Project 01 will require the use of Adobe Design Standard CS 5.5 (includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, Bridge) for presentation purposes. If you already have Adobe Creative Suite 3, CS4 or CS5 you do not need to buy CS5.5.

For digital modeling purposes, Project 01 will require the use of Bonzai3d, FormZ, Maya, Microstation, Rhino3D, or any other program which can be used to model accurately, and be used to generate 3d to 2d content.

For digital drawing purposes, Project 01 will require the use of AutoCAD, Microstation, or any other program which can be used to draw accurately and translate to drawings to Adobe Illustrator and your 3d software.


note: Sketchup will not be used in any section of ARCH 2351


Studio Rosters

Lectures will take place in BA 353 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:50pm.

Labs will take place in the following locations on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:20pm. Your first day of lab is: August 31st.
