Students in this class are not requested to buy a kit at the beginning of the semester but instead find materials on demand.

This class is an art making class. And each student will work it in a direction of their own. So supplies needed for each student will differ from one to the next. I suggest that you do not buy anything ahead of time till you decide what materials you need.

For the first day of class, please bring your sketch book you already have, your supplies from last year, and any supplies you have handy.

Some general items needed for the semester might be:-

Drawing sketch book 18x24

Access to a digital camera

Japanese papers (small sheets that come with prints on them)

Fabric, thin cotton canvas

Museum board

Stuffing for soft sculpture

MDF 24x36(available in the laser shop)

Gesso

Wood panels (natural), wood sticks, dowel rods, Plexiglass.
