Project Description:

Cochran County Park additions and renovations
Cochran County Park additions and renovations

After receiving a $50,000 matching grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife Cochran County officials enlisted the CDL to study the rehabilitation of the existing county park located outside of Morton, Texas.

A popular place for community gatherings the existing support facilities needed to be improved, and the new building program called for the addition of a pavilion, covered picnic tables, and a new restroom building.

Additional design considerations included park equipment, new playground, and walking path. A series of design schemes were developed and presented to community members including cost estimates. After a consensus was reached the CDL produced a set of construction drawings for bidding and final construction.
