Fond of text and tectonics. - AV A clever, sardonic commentary on "life" in the CoA. Although not a real manipulation of space itself, the project fills the void with solids inside which are stored "temporary" solids that provoke our imagination making us question the purpose of the space itself. - CE
Stunning proposal. We must do this! The inversion of logic that fills a room to animate it appeal to me. - AV Imaginative and exciting transformation of space into an experiential odyssey thru the mysteries of the visual and tactile. - CE
Excellent observation about the buildings location on the campus and how people might move into the building. - AV Good re-programming of space to compliment the re-working of space. Significant re-orientation of building entry. - CE
Nice manipulation of space in section and plan. Early sketches are as compelling as the rendered model. - AV Bold in its willingness to cut thru the building. Good thinking about space, and about light to create space. - CE
SUBMITTING YOUR PROPOSALSYou will need to hand in the printed version of your submissions in the 10th floor faculty lounge between 2:00-5:00pm on Tuesday, January 19th.
