Bring your lunch to room 1001 (faculty lounge) on Wednesdays at Noon and join us for an hour as one to three of our faculty from the College of Architecture make informal presentations and we have an open discussion over lunch and their ongoing scholarship.

David Driskill : "Urban Design Research Studio"

The UDRS focuses primary on the redevelopment of downtown Lubbock. Studio works for the last three years visualize an overall downtown organizational concept, a new mixed use corridor along 10th Street, and a new Civic and Arts District. The City of Lubbock has incorporated significant concepts from the studio into the downtown redevelopment plan. The UDRS has a goal of being in a downtown location by January 2010.
