Graduate Admissions

There are two steps in applying for the Master of Architecture, the Master of Science in Architecture and the Interdisciplinary PhD program in Land Use Planning, Management, and Design (LPMD) Graduate Programs.

  1. Complete the Graduate School application
  2. Complete the College of Architecture graduate application form and submit the application requirements listed on page 3.

Master of Science in Architecture
PhD in Land-Use Planning, Management and Design


INTERNAL APPLICANTS APPLYING TO THE M_ARCH WITH LESS THAN A 3.0 GPA ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS LISTED BELOW ON THE INTERNAL APPLICANT GUIDELINES, INCLUDING GRE SCORES. INTERNAL APPLICANTS WITH A 3.0 GPA OR ABOVE MAY CONTACT lori.rodriguez@ttu.edu FOR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS.

Application Guidelines

Application Deadlines

Master of Architecture:
March 1st for the summer session
March 1st for the Fall semester
October 1st for the Spring semester


Master of Science in Architecture:
March 1st for the Fall semester
  • the Master of Science, post professional program begins in the Fall semester only.


Land Use Planning, Management and Design:
March 1st for the Fall semester
October 1st for the Spring semester


NOTE: Applicants who have NOT received their Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University will be reviewed by an admission committee who will place the applicant within the curriculum. Leveling courses may be assigned.
