The scholarship list is divided into categories based on eligibility. It is likely that you fulfill the requirements within more than one category. Many scholarships are academic year and region specific. Your year designation is based on your studio level during the upcoming fall semester. Region requirements are contained within specific scholarship descriptions.

Applications for scholarships will be open around Thanksgiving of each year.
During the application period, links to the requirements and application form will appear here and on the home page.

Available to all Students

Association Administration and Consultants, Inc. Scholarship (TAF)
To be awarded to a deserving student based on academic ability and financial need.
Rotating: Statewide
Brigadier General Walter L. Winters Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to outstanding first year students entering the College of Architecture. Prference will be given to students from the Permian Basin area. Primary preference will be given to students from Andrews, Odessa, and Midland, TX. Thereafter, preference will be determined by the College of Architecture.
Captain Harley Barrick Memorial Endowment
Awarded to a graduate or undergraduate student in architecture to encourage travel to foreign countries.
Charles L. Birdwell Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students enrolled in Texas Tech University College of Architecture.
Dennis Cowan Memorial Scholarship (TAF)
To be awarded to a deserving student enrolled in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University.
Available to the eight accredited schools of Architecture in Texas
Don and Carolyn Tusha Architectural Endowment
Awarded to a student who is enrolled full time in one of the degree programs that is offered by the College of Architecture and who has displayed superior academic or design abilities.
Edith and Bedrick Bartos Memorial Scholarship
(This scholarship alternates between the College of Architecture and the College of Agriculture Sciences It is awarded to an architecture student in odd number years.) For a junior level or above female student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who is a candidate for a professional degree in architecture. Proposed recipients should submit a statement of career goals, personal background, current or past semester work including construction drawings. Final selection may be determined by interviews.
External Programs Scholarship
Available to undergraduate or graduate students who will participate in College of Architecture external programs during the Summer 2001 semesters. By the application deadline, students must be enrolled in an external program's respective acculturation class. If you are applying for this scholarship, each of (7) hard copies of your application must include a 500 word (minimum) written statement identifying why you have chosen to participate in an external program and identifying your educational and personal expectations in regard to the external program. Please summarize previous travel experiences. Financial need and GPA may be considered.
George Tso Chih Peng Urban Studies Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a graduate student who has demonstrated an interest in urban design, land use planning, urban studies, and community development.
Grayson Gill Memorial Scholarship (TAF)
This scholarship was established in 1984 by G. Douglas Gill in memory of his father. It rotates each year to the seven accredited schools of architecture in Texas.

Houston Practicum+Studio Endowment
Scholarship for students participating in the Houston Practicum+Studio program. Selection will be based on student’s grade point average and portfolio.
Huckabee-Terry Memorial Scholarship (TAF)

James M. Langford Endowment
Scholarship for a student enrolled in the architecture program on the TTU campus in El Paso, TX
Joyce and David Vernooy Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship
Scholarship to promote educational international travel as a supplement to the classroom experience of the architecture curriculum. Scholarship recipients will be students participating in College-sponsored study abroad programs.
Margie Firenza Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a student pursuing the first professional degree in Architecture. Membership in the Knights of Architecture is a consideration.
Mark G. Anderson Scholarship Endowment
Scholarship for incoming out-of-state students
Marshall L. and Mary V. Pennington Endowed Scholarship
Eligible recipients will be graduate or undergraduate students pursuing an architecture degree program with a curriculum plan incorporating a strong emphasis of studies within the business discipline. Grade point requirements will be consistent with the College’s guidelines for scholarship applicants.
MPI Architects Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a student entering the sophomore level of study. The selection process will be weighted in favor of applicants who have demonstrated an extreme interest and propensity for architectural design. Financial need may be a consideration.
Robert Leon Coombs and Architecture Faculty Travel Award
Awarded to a full-time students at the graduate or undergraduate level to encourage educational travel, nationally or internationally, as a supplement to the classroom experience of the architecture curriculum. Travel may be part of an organized program or on an independent basis. Application must include a 500-word statement of academic purpose and will include information regarding the applicant’s travel plans, rationale for the travel destination selected and the anticipated result of the experience.
Ron and Peggy Gover Endowment
Scholarship for entering freshmen majoring in architecture with a 29 ACT or a 1300 SAT test score (subject to change).
Samuel Thomas Ritter Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student who is enrolled in the professional degree program who has exhibited outstanding creative abilities.
Texas Architectural Foundation Grant (TAF)
Dean's discretionary use. Amount varies.

Second Year

Carl and Mary Childers Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student who is entering the second year of the first professional degree program.
Sybil Ruth and J. Carlos Jones Endowed Scholarship in Architecture
Full-time student enrolled in the architecture degree program with the intent of pursing a career as a professional architect. Recipients will have completed at least the first year of the professional degree program at the time the scholarship becomes effective. Grade point requirements will be consistent with the College’s guidelines for scholarship applicants. All other factors being equal, financial need may be a consideration.

Third Year

Abilene Chapter AIA Scholarship Fund (TAF)
To be awarded to a deserving (by ability and need) to an upper level (3rd, 4th, 5th yr.) design studio undergraduate from the Abilene area (Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Fisher, Jones, McCulloch, Menard, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, and Taylor counties). Applicants must not graduate before May in the academic award year. Should an Abilene area student not be found, the scholarship would then be awarded, at the discretion of the TAF Board of Trustees, to any of the Texas Architectural Schools with applicants being submitted through the college. A portfolio will be submitted to Austin for review.

AIA Lubbock Memorial Scholarship Award for Graduate Studies (TAF)
Awarded to a student in their final year of study at Texas Tech University, College of Architecture. Candidate's portfolio, undergraduate and graduate GPA, financial need, GRE scores and personal interview are criteria for the award.
Available to the eight accredited schools of Architecture in Texas:
AIA Southeast Texas Chapter Douglas E. Steinman Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to a student from the Southeast Texas Chapter of the AIA of the following counties: Jefferson, Chambers, Liberty, Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Tyler, Newton. The recipient must be in the third year or above of his/her education and must have financial need. This scholarship is competitive statewide among the seven accredited architecture schools in Texas.

AIA Waco Chapter Memorial (TAF)
Third year (Design 3) studio or above and is enrolled at one of the Texas schools of architecture. Must demonstrate financial need and must be listed as a permanent resident from the Waco Chapter area (Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan, Mills, and San Saba counties). Portfolio of applicant's collegiate work must be submitted to Austin with application.

AIA West Texas Chapter (TAF)
Available to architecture student who is entering third year (Design 3) studio. All applicants must have their permanent address listed in the West Texas Chapter AIA geographical area (Andrews, Crane, Crockett, Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Martin, Midland, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Tom Green, and Upton counties).

Albert Payne Memorial Scholarship in Historic Preservation
Available to an undergraduate architecture student with a demonstrated interest in history, preservation or adaptive use and entering third year (Design 3) studio or above. Recipients of this award will participate in college projects focusing on historic preservation.
Chapman Harvey Architects, Inc. Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to students enrolled in the College of Architecture who have graduated from a United States High School. The student must be an undergraduate beginning their 3rd year or above with a 3.0 or higher gpa. The recipient may be a non-traditional student. The Chapman Harvey Architects, Inc. Scholarship can be considered for a study abroad scholarship.
Dallas CSI Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student with a minimum of three years of College/University credit and at least one year remaining to complete their professional degree. The student must be a resident of the DFW Metroplex and enrolled in an accredited Texas or Oklahoma architecture program. Student must be majoring in Architecture, Construction Science and Technology, or Architectural Engineering and have shown special skill and advancement in the areas of Architectural Design, Construction Science or Technology. Financial need is a consideration. Additional application process is necessary.

Scholarship for a junior or above student majoring in architecture with a 3.65 or better GPA and professional interest in design
El Paso Chapter AIA Scholarship Fund (TAF)
Awarded to an architecture student who is entering 3rd year or higher design studio and is enrolled in one of the seven schools of architecture in Texas. The applicant's permanent address must be within the El Paso Chapter area (Brewer, Culberson, El Paso, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Loving, Pecos, Presidio, Reeves, Terrell, Ward, and Winkler counties). Award based primarily on outstanding architectural talent with financial need secondary criterion. Portfolio will be submitted to Austin for review.

FKP Architects Inc. Scholarship
Awarded to a student who is enrolled full time in one of the degree programs that is offered by the Texas Tech Unversity College of Architecture. An interest in the field of institutional building is a plus; also civic interest and leadership skills.
Hugh M. Cunningham Grant (TAF)
Awarded to a deserving 3rd, 4th, or 5th year student enrolled full time in the College of Architecture
Available to the eight accredited schools of Architecture in Texas:
Humphreys and Partners Scholarship
Eligible candidates will be upper-division architecture majors who have demonstrated superior creative and design capabilities, attention to detail and outstanding portfolio quality. Recipients of this award will have received commendation from faculty members.
James A. Burran & Walter L. Calvert - Lubbock Chapter AIA Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a sophomore architecture student entering their third year of the architecture curriculum (Design 3) studio.
James L. & Sheila Brown Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to an outstanding design student. Qualified recipients will be entering the third year level at the time the award becomes effective. This award may be renewed in the fourth and fifth years provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Jerry Kirkwood Memorial Scholarship
Available to a female architecture design studio major enrolled in design 3 or above. Established by Evelyn Atkinson in recognition of Jerry Kirkwood, the sixth woman to receive her B.Arch degree at Texas Tech, and who served as campus architect for construction of new facilities from 1966 until her retirement in 1983. Administered by Soroptimist International of Lubbock.

Jesse H. Jones Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to a student at each of the seven Texas schools of architecture. The student must be eligible to complete the last year of study for the professional degree in architecture during the academic year of the award. Statement of Career Intent is required. Portfolio of the applicant's collegiate work must be submitted to Austin with application.
Justin P. Haire Memorial Architecture Scholarship
The Justin P. Haire Memorial Architecture Scholarship Endowment shall be used to provide scholarship awards to students in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University. Eligible recipients will be third, fourth, or fifth year design students enrolled in the Professional Architecture Degree program. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of creativity aesthetic awareness and technical talent through a portfolio review of work from design, delineation and technology courses. Demonstrated financial need is a consideration.

Ken Tollin Endowed Scholarship
Available to a student enrolled in third year studio (Design 3) or above. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and extraordinary artistic and/or technical talent. All applicants must be from the West Texas Chapter AIA geographical area (Andrews, Crane, Crockett, Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Martin, Midland, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Tom Green, and Upton counties).
Lubbock Chapter AIA Scholarships
For full-time architecture students at Texas Tech University who have completed at least four semesters work, including two semesters of design studio. Applicants should have demonstrated qualities of leadership and enthusiasm for architecture with intent of becoming a registered practicing architect. Candidate's portolio, SAT/ACT scores, GPA, financial need and personal interview are criteria for the award. Number of awards varies from one to five.
Mahaley - Thompson Scholarship
Available to an architecture student who has completed the first two years of studies in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University (no transfer students are eligible for this award). The scholarship will be awarded for evidence of creativity and aesthetic awareness demonstrated through a portfolio review of work from design and delineation studios.
R. Turner and Panze Kimmel Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding student in the third, fourth, or fifth year of the first professional degree program.
Robert D. Troy & Associates Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to students with the expressed interest in pursuing careers as professional, practicing architects. If the recipient maintains at least the scholarship minimums, the award may be renewed, as determined by the CoA scholarship committee.
Sybil Ruth and J. Carlos Jones Endowed Scholarship in Architecture
Full-time student enrolled in the architecture degree program with the intent of pursing a career as a professional architect. Recipients will have completed at least the first year of the professional degree program at the time the scholarship becomes effective. Wayne and Phyllis Gault Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student who has completed at least the first two years in Texas Tech University's five-year professional degree program and who has demonstrated superior ability in the area of design. Student's studies in architecture must have been undertaken at Texas Tech University. Award will not be given to a transfer student. Financial need may be a consideration.
W. G. McMillan Construction Company, Inc. Scholarship
Awarded to architecture students pursuing a structures specialty or dual degree option in Civil Engineering degree; priority is given to the highest ranking student completing the 3rd year of the undergraduate program.
Wichita Falls Chapter AIA Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to an outstanding architecture student who is entering third year (Design 3) studio or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen of exceptional talent and moral character and whose permanent address is listed in the Wichita Falls Chapter area (Archer, Baylor, Childress, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, King, Knox, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties).

Fourth Year

A. S. Megert Memorial Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to an architecture student who has completed Design 4 (third year) studio and is pursuing a structures option emphasis, preferably a student enrolled in the dual-degree architecture/civil engineering program.
Available to the eight accredited schools of Architecture in Texas:
Abilene Chapter AIA Scholarship Fund (TAF)

Albert R. Moffitt, Jr. and Doris E. Moffitt Scholarship
Available to a professional degree graduate student in the Master of Architecture program who has selected a specialty of architecture, historic preservation, or computer-aided design. Selection based on portfolio, undergraduate and graduate GPA, financial need, GRE scores, and personal interview. The sliding scale GPA/GRE range is between 3.5GPA/900GRE and a 3.00GPA/1200GRE. Number of awards and amounts vary.

Dallas CSI Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student with a minimum of three years of College/University credit and at least one year remaining to complete their professional degree. HD & D Design Collaborative, L.L.P. Scholarship Honoring John L. Hannon, J. Ray Daniel and Donald E. Dickerson (TAF)
Established in 1997 by R. Stephen Brooks, AIA (Class of '77) and Glenn R. Oldham, AIA (Class of '83), this endowed scholarship is available to a student in the professional degree program at Texas Tech University, College of Architecture, and who is entering their fourth year (Design 5).
Hugh M. Cunningham Grant (TAF)

Robert and Dorothy Messersmith Scholarship
This award is open to 4th and 5th year students who have demonstrated aptitude for and interest in professional practice. Applicants should have strong design skills. Preference may be given to students enrolled in the dual-degree program of architecture and business.
San Antonio Conservation Society Foundation Scholarship Honoring Brooks Martin, FAIA (TAF)
Awarded to a student in one of the accredited architectural programs in the state of Texas. Recipient must have at least one year of architectural education remaining and show an interest in historical architecture, preservation and adaptive use. The scholarship may be used for historically related travel or to support any other preservation-related project. The recipient will be required to provide a program and support materials (a written report, sketchbook or slide presentation) to the San Antonio Conservation Society membership following the travel or project completion. Project proposal must be submitted with an application along with Statement of Career Intent. See Professor John White for more information. Two scholarships are available in amounts from $1500 to $2500 each.

White Associates AIA Scholarship
Eligible candidates will be fulltime students pursuing a first professional degree in the Texas Tech University College of Architecture. Recipients will be in either the fourth or fifth year of studies at the time the award takes effect. Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point in architecture studies. A portfolio review with emphasis on the creative design process and appropriate structural system development will be the determining factor in the selection process.
Wichita Falls Chapter AIA Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to an outstanding architecture student who is entering third year (Design 3) studio or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen of exceptional talent and moral character and whose permanent address is listed in the Wichita Falls Chapter area (Archer, Baylor, Childress, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, King, Knox, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties).

Willard B. Robinson Memorial Scholarship
Available to a graduate or upper-level undergraduate student enrolled in the Architectural History of Architectural Preservation curricula. William C. Early Scholarship
This scholarship was one of the first established to benefit outstanding students in the Texas Tech architecture program. Eligible recipients are upper division students with demonstrated excellence in architectural studies.

Fifth Year

Abilene Chapter AIA Scholarship Fund (TAF)
To be awarded to a deserving (by ability and need) to an upper level (3rd, 4th, 5th yr.) design studio undergraduate from the Abilene area (Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Fisher, Jones, McCulloch, Menard, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, and Taylor counties). Applicants must not graduate before May in the academic award year. Should an Abilene area student not be found, the scholarship would then be awarded, at the discretion of the TAF Board of Trustees, to any of the Texas Architectural Schools with applicants being submitted through the college. A portfolio will be submitted to Austin for review.

AIA Lubbock Memorial Scholarship Award for Graduate Studies (TAF)
Awarded to a student in their final year of study at Texas Tech University, College of Architecture. Candidate's portfolio, undergraduate and graduate GPA, financial need, GRE scores and personal interview are criteria for the award.

Awarded to a student from the Southeast Texas Chapter of the AIA of the following counties: Jefferson, Chambers, Liberty, Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Tyler, Newton. The recipient must be in the third year or above of his/her education and must have financial need. This scholarship is competitive statewide among the seven accredited architecture schools in Texas.

Portfolio of applicant's collegiate work must be submitted to Austin with application.

Albert Payne Memorial Scholarship in Historic Preservation
Available to an undergraduate architecture student with a demonstrated interest in history, preservation or adaptive use and entering third year (Design 3) studio or above. Recipients of this award will participate in college projects focusing on historic preservation.
Albert R. Moffitt, Jr. and Doris E. Moffitt Scholarship
Available to a professional degree graduate student in the Master of Architecture program who has selected a specialty of architecture, historic preservation, or computer-aided design. Selection based on portfolio, undergraduate and graduate GPA, financial need, GRE scores, and personal interview. The sliding scale GPA/GRE range is between 3.5GPA/900GRE and a 3.00GPA/1200GRE. Number of awards and amounts vary.

Arch Swank Jr. Architecture Fellowship: Dallas Architectural Foundation - New in 2001
Awarded for the study of the craft of Architecture by the Dallas Architectural Foundation. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a permanent resident of the DFW Metroplex and possess exceptional qualifications and abilities. Student must be in their last year of an accredited architecture program at the time of the scholarship application and the award must be used in the year in which it is awarded. Curtis Group Architects/Thomas and Gloria Curtis Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to a student currently enrolled in the graduate program, with an interest in pursuing a career in the area of healthcare architecture.
Dallas CSI Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student with a minimum of three years of College/University credit and at least one year remaining to complete their professional degree. The student must be a resident of the DFW Metroplex and enrolled in an accredited Texas or Oklahoma architecture program. Student must be majoring in Architecture, Construction Science and Technology, or Architectural Engineering and have shown special skill and advancement in the areas of Architectural Design, Construction Science or Technology. Financial need is a consideration. Additional application process is necessary.

Awarded to a student who is enrolled full time in one of the degree programs that is offered by the Texas Tech Unversity College of Architecture. An interest in the field of institutional building is a plus; also civic interest and leadership skills.

Scholarship for a graduate student majoring in architecture with a 3.5 GPA or better. Preference will be given to females not eligible for financial aid.
Harrell+Hamilton Scholarship: Dallas Architectural Foundation
Awarded to a student in an accredited Texas architecture school who is entering their final year of study who possesses exceptional qualifications and abilities. The award is based on the application requirements specified by the Dallas Architectural Foundation.

Established in 1997 by R. Stephen Brooks, AIA (Class of '77) and Glenn R. Oldham, AIA (Class of '83), this endowed scholarship is available to a student in the professional degree program at Texas Tech University, College of Architecture, and who is entering their fourth year (Design 5).

Eligible candidates will be upper-division architecture majors who have demonstrated superior creative and design capabilities, attention to detail and outstanding portfolio quality. Recipients of this award will have received commendation from faculty members.
Jerry Kirkwood Memorial Scholarship
Available to a female architecture design studio major enrolled in design 3 or above. Established by Evelyn Atkinson in recognition of Jerry Kirkwood, the sixth woman to receive her B.Arch degree at Texas Tech, and who served as campus architect for construction of new facilities from 1966 until her retirement in 1983. Administered by Soroptimist International of Lubbock.

Jeryl J. Jordan Memorial Scholarship
Available to a full-time architecture student who will complete the terminal (thesis) level of study the following academic year. Recipients will demonstrate exceptional abilities in the area of architectural design as well as the highest standard of ethical, moral, and professional conduct. Preference will be given to applicants with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in design.
Jesse H. Jones Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to a student at each of the seven Texas schools of architecture. The student must be eligible to complete the last year of study for the professional degree in architecture during the academic year of the award. Statement of Career Intent is required. Portfolio of the applicant's collegiate work must be submitted to Austin with application.
Justin P. Haire Memorial Architecture Scholarship
The Justin P. Haire Memorial Architecture Scholarship Endowment shall be used to provide scholarship awards to students in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University. Eligible recipients will be third, fourth, or fifth year design students enrolled in the Professional Architecture Degree program. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of creativity aesthetic awareness and technical talent through a portfolio review of work from design, delineation and technology courses. Demonstrated financial need is a consideration.

All applicants must be from the West Texas Chapter AIA geographical area (Andrews, Crane, Crockett, Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Martin, Midland, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Tom Green, and Upton counties).
Lubbock Chapter AIA Scholarships
For full-time architecture students at Texas Tech University who have completed at least four semesters work, including two semesters of design studio. Applicants should have demonstrated qualities of leadership and enthusiasm for architecture with intent of becoming a registered practicing architect. Candidate's portolio, SAT/ACT scores, GPA, financial need and personal interview are criteria for the award. Number of awards varies from one to five.
Mahaley - Thompson Scholarship
Available to an architecture student who has completed the first two years of studies in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University (no transfer students are eligible for this award). The scholarship will be awarded for evidence of creativity and aesthetic awareness demonstrated through a portfolio review of work from design and delineation studios.
Nolan E. Barrick Scholarship
Available to a graduate student who possesses an intention to practice architecture and possesses superior design skills.

Shirley E. Megert Memorial Scholarship (TAF)
Endowed in 1998 by Russell A. Megert in memory of his wife. Scholarship purpose is to provide support for an outstanding student who has completed the fourth year in the COA at TTU and who is pursuing the dual degree program in Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Sybil Ruth and J. Carlos Jones Endowed Scholarship in Architecture
Full-time student enrolled in the architecture degree program with the intent of pursing a career as a professional architect. Recipients will have completed at least the first year of the professional degree program at the time the scholarship becomes effective. Grade point requirements will be consistent with the College’s guidelines for scholarship applicants. All other factors being equal, financial need may be a consideration.
Wayne and Phyllis Gault Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student who has completed at least the first two years in Texas Tech University's five-year professional degree program and who has demonstrated superior ability in the area of design. Student's studies in architecture must have been undertaken at Texas Tech University. Award will not be given to a transfer student. Financial need may be a consideration.
White Associates AIA Scholarship
Eligible candidates will be fulltime students pursuing a first professional degree in the Texas Tech University College of Architecture. Recipients will be in either the fourth or fifth year of studies at the time the award takes effect. Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point in architecture studies. A portfolio review with emphasis on the creative design process and appropriate structural system development will be the determining factor in the selection process.
Wichita Falls Chapter AIA Scholarship (TAF)
Awarded to an outstanding architecture student who is entering third year (Design 3) studio or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen of exceptional talent and moral character and whose permanent address is listed in the Wichita Falls Chapter area (Archer, Baylor, Childress, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, King, Knox, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties).

James R. Sailor Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an architecture student in Design 7, who exhibits exceptional ability and creativity in architecture design. Applicant must be a full-time student pursuing a professional Architecture degree and must be eligible to complete terminal thesis studio during the academic year of the award. A 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 GPA in design courses is required.
